About the Editor

The Editor-in-Chief is Athol Kent, an Oxford-trained O&G consultant clinician with an MPhil in Medical Education. Dr. Kent is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

He has edited JASS since its inception in 1995. He is an internationally renowned medical educator, and is a member of the editorial board of Medical Education, the world’s leading medical education journal.

Dr. Kent has been an invited speaker at numerous prestigious international O&G and medical education conferences.

He has published widely, and his particular speciality is feto-maternal medicine.Dr. Kent is also a strong proponent of evidence-based medicine.
